Time to time SDPS takes it’s students for industry visits to organisations known for their expertise and efficiency. These visits ignite the blooming beauties a spark for action. It inspires both by precept and practice. The aim is to evaluate the vast repertoire of our students’ skills. It provides them a chance to keep pace with the changes in demands technology, gadgetry and opportunities for achieving their cherished goals.
As the old adage goes “sameness is the mother of disgust , variety the cure” –Petrach. Alongwith industry visits , the college organizes national and international study tours whereby students get an opportunity to understand business prevalent in various places. The education we provide is for enlightenment, empowerment and development.
The enthusiasm exhilarated from these tours enable them to perform beyond expectations and produce extraordinary results with extra effort. These tours, specially international tours not only give students a clear exposure of various cultures and trends, but also pave the way to become globally successful.
SDPS holds an annual exhibition "PARISKHRITI" wherein the creative work done by all the departments throughout the year is showcased. The college especially invites eminent personalities from the industry, well-known architects, designers, so as to encourage the students, This platform proves to be fruitful, as a lot of students get internship offers and those with exceptionally impressive work even get permanent palcements. Along with this a unique Graudating Fashion Show 'EFFLORESCE' is organized for the final year students, Here, students get a chance to showcase their talent in front of the who's who of the industry. No wonder many of our students have not only impressed everyone with their work but have also bagged good career offrs. The show is an extremely interestng exercise to motivate and facilitate students and a platform that helps them build their career better.
SDPS believes that a healthy mind and physical fit body are pre-requisites for every creative individual to keep the head on shoulders. Image, style and etiquets are necessary for grooming oneself. Alongwith professional training we impart practical tips for the personality development of the students. Good communication helps students develop confidence, feeling of selfworth and good relationships.
To give wings to their imagination we organize personality development classes of experts in this field to the students. Personality Development is very relevant to the needs of the time. It helps them even “ Doing ordinary things extraordinarily well”. It imbibes them with the rules of life like “desire, decision, determination, discipline, direction, steadfastness, perseverance”. We give focus on spoken english and floridity in language also. The greatest motivation comes from a person’s belief system. When motivation becomes important, people accept responsibility for their behaviour and actions, their attitude towards life becomes positive.
